Trio of Concordia Baseball Players Garner All-NCKL Recognition

Three Concordia High School Baseball players garnered All-North Central Kansas League recognition.

Senior Payton Breese earned First-Team All-NCKL honors, while Senior Pitcher Braeden Primeaux and Sophomore Infielder Chane Parker were tabbed Honorable Mention All-NCKL.

Breese, named the team's Outstanding Senior Baseball Player, finished his senior year batting .267 with a .436 on-base percentage.  Breese tallied 16 hits, including two doubles, 19 runs and 5 RBI.  Breese also pitched 15.2 innings, finishing with a 4.91 ERA.

Primeaux hit .317 with 19 hits and 17 RBI.  On the mound, Primeaux made nine starts, throwing 40.1 innings.  The Tabor College commit finished the year with a 5.38 ERA, allowing 31 earned runs on 63 hits while striking out 42 batters on the year.

Parker led the team at the plate with a .345 batting average, collecting 20 hits, including three doubles and two triples, 11 runs and 14 RBI.  Parker also pitched 17.2 innings.  He finished the year with a 1-1 record and an 8.32 ERA.

Concordia concluded the 2024 season at 7-14 overall under first year Head Coach Dustin Bender.
