Three Concordia Volleyball Players Receive All-North Central Kansas League Honors

The Concordia High School Volleyball program had three players represented on the 2022 All-North Central Kansas League teams.  Junior Carlie Carlgren was named to the All-NCKL First Team, while Senior Hanna Acree and Sophomore Taylor McDaniel were selected Honorable Mention All-NCKL.

Carlgren led the Panthers in kills with 225 on the season.  Carlgren averaged 2.9 kills and 3.8 digs per set on .207 hitting in her junior season, adding 12 aces and 30 blocks.

Acree had an outstanding senior season as Concordia's libero, averaging 5.2 digs per set while adding 16 aces.  Acree collected a team-high 403 digs on the year.

McDaniel averaged 2.6 kills and 1.8 digs per set.  McDaniel finished the year with 199 kills, 29 aces, 23 assists and 10 total blocks.

The Panthers closed out the year with an 18-17 mark, losing to the Marysville Bulldogs in the opening round of the 2022 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A Sub-State Volleyball Tournament in Minneapolis on October 22nd.
