Three Concordia High School Seniors Close Out Career at State Track & Field Meet

Three senior members of the Concordia High School Boys and Girls Track and Field teams closed out their high school athletic careers by representing the Panthers at the 2023 Kansas State High School Activities Association State Track & Field Meet at Cessna Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University.

Concordia Senior Bergun Kindel cleared 11'6" to finish in a tie for 12th place in the Class 3A Boys Pole Vault on Saturday, May 27th.

Panthers Senior Aceyn Cash recorded a jump of 5'6" to finish 14th overall in the Class 3A Boys High Jump on Friday, May 26th.

On the girls side, Senior Jaida Koester teamed with Freshman Charlize Cash, Sophomore Aubrey Stahlman and Freshman Kynlee Hamel on the Concordia Girls 4x100M Relay team.  The team turned in a time of 51.77 to finish in 11th place in the 3A Girls 4x100M Relay Preliminaries on Friday.

Cash represented the Panthers in three events at this year's state meet.

On Friday, Cash started the day in the 3A Girls 100M High Hurdles Preliminaries.  Cash posted a time of 17.07, finishing in 14th place.

Cash later finished in 10th place overall in the 3A Girls 300M Low Hurdles Preliminaries, finishing in a time of 49.06.
