Panther Volleyball Struggles at Rock Creek

The Panthers traveled to St. George on Tuesday September 24th for a two match battle with the 17-3 Rock Creek Mustangs. For the first time this season Concordia got swept in both matches and falls to 10-7 on the season and Rock Creek improves to an impressive 19-3 on the year.

In match number one Concordia lost 2-0 losing set one 25-21 and set two 25-16. Junior Kynlee Hamel led the way for Concordia with 7 kills while her Junior teammate Baylen Arnold helped her with 9 assists. Junior Rylie Jessup was the team leader in serves with 10 total and one ace on the evening.

In match number two Concordia also lost 2-0 losing set one 25-12 and set two 25-15. Once again Hamel led the Panthers with 9 kills while Sophomore Jaylin Roush added 4. Arnold and Jessup each had 8 assists to help the Panthers in the match and Junior Charlize Cash led the Panthers with an ace on five serves.

Concordia will look to bounce back as they travel to Chapman on Tuesday October 1st with first serve at 5:15 in the evening.
