Matthew Eubanks Signs Letter of Intent to Play Baseball at Dordt University

Matthew Eubanks, son of Matt and Sandra Eubanks of Concordia, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Dordt University, a NAIA program in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Eubanks is currently playing for the Wichita Homeschool Varsity Warriors.  Eubanks, a catcher, had a batting average of .411, an on-base percentage of .554 and 24 RBI last season.  The Warriors finished the 2022 season at 15-8 overall.  

“Eubanks is what every high school coach looks for in a player.  Matt is a leader that the other kids notice and respect from preparation to playing the game with intensity and class.  Matthew can play multiple positions at any time which is priceless at any level," Warriors Coach Craig Dingman said.  "Truly, the best part about Matthew is he is genuinely a GREAT kid and will be a great addition to any baseball team. Definitely a person you want on your team without a doubt.”

Currently a senior at Family Kingdom Academy, Matthew has a GPA of 3.8 and plans to major in Human Health and Performance while at Dordt.
