Heat Causes Changes to Panther Sports Schedules

The first week of the 2026-27 Concordia Junior Senior High School sports season is packed with a lot of events, all happening right here in North Central Kansas. Mother Nature, however, has had other plans and has made some adjustments to those schedules.

Below are the updated schedules:

TUESDAY

Concordia girls golf invitational, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., has now moved to a 9 a.m. tee time.

Concordia girls tennis at Ellsworth, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., has now been moved to a 9 a.m. start.

Concordia girls jv tennis at Beloit, originally scheduled for 3 p.m., has now been moved to a 9 a.m. start.

THURSDAY

High school and Junior high school cross country, originally scheduled for 4 p.m., has now been moved to a 9 a.m. start for the first race.

Concordia girls tennis at Chapman, originally scheduled for 3 p.m., has now been moved to a 9 a.m. start.

Concordia girls jv tennis at the Smokey Valley tournament, originally scheduled for 3 p.m., is still to be determined for a new time.

Junior High football at Chapman, originally scheduled for 4:30 p.m., has now been changed to have the 7th grade team play at 6 and the 8th grade team play at approximately 7:30.

FRIDAY

Concordia football game vs Abilene, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., has now been moved to a 7:30 kickoff time.
