Four Concordia High School Softball Players Named to All-North Central Kansas League Team

The Concordia High School Softball team earned four All-North Central Kansas League selections.

Juniors Hanna Acree and Shaelin Giersch earned spots on the All-League First Team.

Acree, an All-League Pitcher, registered a team-best 1.92 ERA in finishing 7-5 on the mound this season.  Acree threw 84 innings, recording 93 strikeouts while only walking eight batters and allowing just 23 earned runs.  At the plate, Acree also led Concordia with a .367 batting average, contributing 22 hits including six doubles and one triple.

Giersch, an All-League Outfielder, hit .230 on the year, assembling six multi-base hits.  Giersch scored 14 runs off 14 hits and posted 8 RBI.

Sophomore Erinae Flesher and Freshman Kenlee Williams received All-League Honorable Mention honors.

Flesher, an Infielder, hit .322 on the year with 19 hits and 19 runs scored.  Flesher also had 10 RBI and stole a team-high eight bases.

Williams, an Outfielder, hit .185 on the season with 10 hits, including two doubles and four triples.  Williams finished with 11 runs scored, 9 RBI, and 7 stolen bases.

The Lady Panthers finished 11-8 overall and 2-6 in North Central Kansas League play.  Concordia fell 8-4 in eight innings to Winfield in the semifinals of the 2022 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 4A Regional Softball Tournament in Andale.
