Four Concordia Boys Basketball Players Earn All-North Central Kansas League Honors
Four Concordia High School Boys Basketball players have received All-North Central Kansas League recognition, including two first-teamers.
Concordia Senior Aceyn Cash and Junior Joey Henderson were named to the All-NCKL First Team, while Junior Payton Breese and Sophomore Peyton Retter received honorable mention.
Cash led the Panthers with 11.6 points per game, while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor. Cash also posted 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game, and he led the team with 23 blocked shots.
Henderson averaged 10.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, a team-best 3.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 42 percent from the floor.
Breese averaged 9.2 points per game, leading the team with 53 made three-pointers off 44.9 percent shooting from behind the arc. He also added 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Retter averaged 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Retter shot 41.9 percent from the floor and 41 percent from three-point range, with 43 made three-pointers on the season.
Concordia concluded its 2022-2023 year at 10-11 overall.
