Senior Shortstop Stryker Hake Has Been Named the Outstanding Senior Baseball Player of the Year at Concordia High School

The Concordia High School Baseball program held its annual postseason banquet this week.

At the banquet, Head Coach Brandt Hutchinson announced Senior Shortstop Stryker Hake was named the Outstanding Senior Baseball Player award winner.

Hake, who has signed to play baseball next year at Cloud County Community College, hit seven triples this season to break the single-season record, and collected 13 triples to set a new career triples record at CHS.

Hake hit .483 on the year with 28 hits, 27 runs and 26 RBI.  He also pitched 21 1/3 innings, including three starts, and had a 6.23 ERA, allowing 19 earned runs off 26 hits while striking out 32 batters on his way to earning a 2-1 overall record.

Concordia concluded the 2023 season with a 12-9 overall record, losing to the Rossville Bulldogs by a final score of 6-1 in the opening round of the 2023 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 3A Regional Baseball Tournament in Sabetha on May 17th.
