Cloud County Volleyball Sweeps Kansas Wesleyan JV in Non-Conference Road Match

The Cloud County Community College volleyball team defeated Kansas Wesleyan University JV with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-19) sweep in a non-conference road match inside Mabee Arena in Salina, Kansas on Monday, October 28.

Freshman Grace Rowland led Cloud County with a team-high 19 kills. Sophomore Bradie Medina posted six kills, a team-high 12 digs and two block assists. Sophomore Emery May tallied five kills, four digs and five blocks, including one solo stuff. Freshman Carlie Carlgren also had five kills and three block assists.

Freshman Maria Clara Lopes Miranda recorded 27 assists and six digs. Freshman Savana Krupicka posted five assists.

Freshman Beatrice Giusti registered double-digit digs with 11. Freshman Berkleigh Curtis and sophomore Kloë Waymel finished with five digs each.

The T-Birds (7-21) will remain on the road Wednesday, October 30 as they next travel to Pratt to face the Pratt Beavers in a 6:30 pm match.
