Cloud County Men's Track and Feild Team Lands Six Top Ten Finishes at Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational

The Cloud County Community College men's indoor track and field team nabbed six top-ten finishes at the 49th Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 7-8.
Among Cloud County's top performers in the track events, freshman Abdelaziz Benbrahim secured a second-place finish in the Men's 600M with a time of 1:19.02.
Freshman Gelasa Abdisa finished third in the Men's 5,000M Run with a time of 15:52.83. Sophomore Ethan Ochana came in fourth place in the 5,000M Run with a time of 16:19.09.
In the field events, sophomore Bradley Nkosi earned a sixth-place finish in Men's 60M Hurdles with a personal-record time of 8.20.
Freshman Mory Diop was ninth overall in the Men's High Jump with a leap of 6'4.75". Sophomore Trey Collins followed in tenth place with a jump of 6'2.75".
The T-Birds will compete in their final regular-season meet of the indoor season on Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, when they head to Topeka, Kansas, for the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational at the Washburn University Indoor Track.
