Cloud County Men's Cross Country Team Finishes 23rd at NJCAA Cross Country Championships

The Cloud County Community College men's cross country team placed 23rd out of 30 teams at the 2025 NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 8, at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The T-Birds posted the fifth-best score among Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools.

Sophomore Gelasa Degefa Abdisa was the T-Birds' top individual finisher in 58th place. Abdisa ran the 8k race in 27:07.0. Freshman Davis Miltner crossed the line in 59th with a time of 27:07.5.

Others to finish for Cloud County included freshman Nicholas Johnson (155th; 29:25.8), sophomore Cody Sharp (175th; 30:08.8), freshman Zeb Schultze (177th; 30:12.5), sophomore Abdelaziz Benbrahim (185th; 30:38.6), and freshman Jesus Baltazar (30:59.6).

Iowa Central took the team title with a total score of 58. Hutchinson Community College and Butler Community College rounded out the top three.
