Cloud County Community College to Host 26th Annual T-Bird Golf Classic

The Cloud County Community College Athletic department is now accepting registrations for its 26th Annual Thunderbird Golf Classic, set for Saturday, August 3rd at Concordia Golf and Wellness.

The tournament will follow a four-person scramble format, with a shotgun start for all golfers scheduled at 9 am.

Registration will be open at 8 am on the day of the tournament.  Lunch will be made available to players between 11 am and 1 pm, and the event concludes with the annual raffle inside the clubhouse.

In addition to great raffle prizes, participants will have the opportunity to play and win prizes during a handful of on-course contests.

Team registration costs $300 and includes green fees for four players, lunch, and free drinks while supplies last. Mulligans can be purchased for $5 with a maximum of two mulligans per player.  It is being asked that all golfers who register for the Thunderbird Golf Classic provide their own carts.  Those who are unable to provide their own cart will be able to reserve a cart at a cost of $15 per cart when they register their team.

Interested parties may also take advantage of the three-layer sponsorship format that was implemented in 2018.

A "Gold" sponsorship would cost $500 and would include the golf team registration, eight mulligans (two per player), recognition on golf tournament promotions, eight free raffle tickets, four Cloud County branded golf towels, and hole sponsorship.

Other sponsorship options include the "Silver" package for $250, which includes recognition in tournament promotions, four free raffle tickets, and a hole sponsorship, while the "Bronze" package for $100 goes toward a hole sponsorship.

All proceeds raised from the T-Bird Golf Classic go toward funding Cloud County Community College athletic scholarships.
