Charlize Cash First-Team, Carlie Carlgren and Taylor McDaniel Named Honorable Mention All-NCKL

Concordia Freshman Charlize Cash has been named to the 2023 All-North Central Kansas League First Team in girls basketball.

The All-League team, as recently selected by a vote of the league's coaches, includes the first team and honorable mentions.  Panthers Junior Carlie Carlgren and Sophomore Taylor McDaniel were both named to the honorable mention list.

Cash led Concordia at 7.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.  Cash shot 49.5 percent from the floor, including 62.9 percent from inside the arc, and had the best free-throw percentage on the team at 68 percent.  She also was honored this year with selection to the All-Tournament Team at the 2023 Hiawatha Girls Invitational Basketball Tournament.

Carlgren averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.  McDaniel averaged 6.8 points off a team-best 53.6 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.  McDaniel also led the team by taking seven charges this season.

The Concordia Girls Basketball team ended the 2022-2023 season at 6-15 overall.
