2025-26 KJCCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 2

Filling the stat sheets across two games each last week, Cloud County Community College women’s basketball player Camiah Muldrow and Johnson County Community College guard Layla Scott have each earned their first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Player of the Week honors for the 2025-26 season.

Camiah Muldrow – Cloud County (KJCCC Division 1 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Cloud County guard Camiah Muldrow led the T-Birds to back-to-back wins at the BSN Tip-Off Classic in Hutchinson, Kansas, over the weekend to help Cloud County improve to 2-1 on the year. Muldrow ended the tournament averaging 23.5 points on 63.2 percent shooting to go with 5.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Muldrow scored a game-high 38 points in leading Cloud County to a 21-point win over previously unbeaten Northeast Oklahoma A&M. The 38 points represented the highest-scoring game for a Cloud County women's basketball player since November 18, 2019.

Layla Scott – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Cavalier guard Layla Scott averaged 16.5 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals while leading the top-ranked Johnson County women's basketball team to win over Iowa Lakes and Southwestern at the JCCC Classic over the weekend. In a 70-30 victory over Iowa Lakes, Scott delivered a game-high 22 points along with six assists, four steals, three blocks, and a rebound. The next day, Scott followed with 11 points, five rebounds, and two assists in just 22 minutes during a 99-28 rout of Southwestern Community College. Through four games against NJCAA competition, Scott is averaging 15.0 points and 4.0 assists while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
