Starting the month of January by leading their teams to key wins, Barton Community College freshman Noah Williams and Johnson County Community College guard Aidan Wing have each earned their first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors.

Noah Williams – Barton (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week) Noah Williams delivered a historic performance in Barton's 118-113 win over number 19 Butler. The freshman forward scored a career-high 33 points, setting two individual program records by converting 25 free throws, finishing 25-for-29 (86.2 percent) at the charity stripe. Williams shot 50 percent from the field in 31 minutes, while adding nine rebounds in the upset.

Aidan Wing – Johnson County (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week) Johnson County sophomore Aidan Wing delivered a season-high 27 points to pace the Cavaliers in a 92-87 overtime win at Southeast and keep the Cavaliers perfect at 14-0. The guard connected on 10-of-20 shots and was a perfect seven-for-seven at the free-throw line. Finishing one rebound shy of a double-double, Wing finished with nine rebounds in addition to providing two assists and two steals against the Bobcats.
