2025-26 KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 2

Unbeaten weeks for the Cloud County Community College and Highland Community College men’s basketball teams were led by the week two Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Men’s Basketball Players of the Week as T-Bird Al Brooks Jr. and Scottie Colton Knoll each earned their first career honors.

Al Brooks Jr. – Cloud County (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Cloud County freshman Al Brooks Jr. averaged a double-double over the weekend as the T-Birds picked up a pair of double-digit wins at the Southeastern Community College Classic. Opening the weekend with a 23-point, 16-rebound double-double in an 81-66 win over State Fair Community College, Brooks finished out his week with 24 points and six rebounds on 10-of-14 shooting from the field while adding one steal and two blocks in a 107-83 win over Missouri State-West Plains. For the Week, Brooks averaged 23.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game as the T-Birds improved to 3-1 on the year with their lone loss coming to number 11 Indian Hills.

Colton Knoll – Highland (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Knoll had a solid first full week as a Scottie, leading all players with 27 points and 14 rebounds in Highland's upset of North Central Missouri College. The freshman then led Highland to another upset win to close out the week, scoring 23 points in HCC's upset of number 19 Iowa Lakes Community College. Knoll hit a three-pointer with 7:18 left in the second half to halt a 26-10 run by the Lakers as the Scotties went on to take an 81-77 victory in the neutral-site contest.
