COLBY, Kan. – Barton Community College forward Maxence Voinier and Seward County Community College goalkeeper Bruno Mestres have repeated as Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Players of the Week after putting up big performances for a second-straight week.

Maxence Voinier – The reigning KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week, Voinier sustained his hot stretch by running his goals streak to five straight games by adding three goals and two assists on the week for the fifth-ranked Cougars. After providing the brief equalizer against Dodge City to open the week in a 3-2 loss to the Conquistadors, Voinier put up a pair of three-point performances in Barton's two wins over the weekend. The sophomore netted the eventual game-winning goal in Friday's 3-0 win over Jefferson College before adding another marker and creating the game-winning setup in Sunday's 5-1 win at Trinidad State.

Bruno Mestres – Mestres continued where he left off a week ago with some high-flying saves against both Kansas City Kansas and Lamar in week two of the 2024 season. The sophomore goalkeeper recorded a total of nine saves and did not allow any goals for a 100 percent save percentage through both games and a total of 135:00 minutes on the field.
