Marilyn J. Wallace

Marilyn J. Wallace, age 88, entered into rest on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Belleville Health Care, Belleville, Kansas.  She was born January 16, 1935 in Concordia, Kansas to John and Virginia (Thyfault) Fazel, Sr.

Marilyn graduated from the Concordia Catholic High School in the Class of 1954.

She married Robert D. Clark at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia, Kansas.  To this union one son was born, Bruce. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2009. 

She later married Cecil B. Wallace in 1959 to this union one daughter was born, Donna.  He preceded her in death.

Marilyn was a CNA having worked for Sunset Nursing Home and the Nazareth Motherhouse, both of Concordia.

Marilyn was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia.

She enjoyed walking and taking care of her home.

Marilyn is survived by her two children, Bruce Clark, Concordia, KS and Donna Wallace, San Jose, CA; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert and 2nd husband, Cecil, a brother, John, Jr., sister, Dorothy Fleury, infant sister.

Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023  at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating.
