Three Concordia High School Students Named Rotary Club Students of the Month

The Rotary Club of Concordia recently named its May Students of the Month.  The Students of the Month are Abbigale Peterson, daughter of Dustin and Brandi Peterson, Qwinter Thrash, the son of Jeromy and Luciana Thrash, and Lewis VanMeter, the son of Linsay and Wade VanMeter.

Abbigale is involved in Band, Color Guard, Friends of Rachel, and Art.  She plans to remain in the workforce and focus on growing a business of hers.

Qwinter is involved in Cross Country and Tennis.  Qwinter has also rang the Salvation Army Bell, performed community service for the elderly, and is an avid storm chaser.  Qwinter works at Dairy Queen and Holiday Inn, as well as USD 333 Concordia during the summer.  He plans to attend Cloud County Community College to major in science so he can pursue storm chasing along with completing the drone certificate program.

Lewis is involved in Golf, Basketball, National Honor Society, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student Ambassador, Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, and Trap Shooting Club.  Lewis plans to attend Fort Hays State University to major in Finance and Accounting.
