River Valley 4-H Junior Leaders will take an educational trip to Nashville, Tennessee this month.

Nashville boasts an array of educational, artistic and entertainment rich attractions for students of all ages.

River Valley District 4-H Youth Development Agent Macy Hynek says 45 River Valley 4-H youth ages 14 and up who are enrolled in the leadership project and participate as junior leaders will take part in this experience.

Nashville was named a top ten student destination in 2020 by the Student and Youth Travel Association.

Hynek says Music City should provide an unforgettable student experience.

The River Valley 4-H Junior Leader Educational Trip will be held August 9th through August 12th.

Hynek expects it will be an amazing learning opportunity for their group.

4-H is one of the world's largest youth organizations with a membership of around 5 million youth across the United States.  The 4-H program in Kansas is delivered through K-State Research and Extension at the state level, and by the River Valley Extension District at the local level.  Local educational programs are carried out by trained 4-H volunteers.
