Proceeds from this annual event will support local literacy programs and scholarships given by the Concordia Rotary Club.  Carleen Nordell, President of the Concordia Rotary Club, says they donate $500 worth of books to the Concordia Elementary School Library each year, while the club also provides three scholarships totaling $1,800 to graduating seniors of Concordia High School who plan to attend a Kansas post-secondary school.

Local business professionals, current and retired, are welcome to join the Concordia Rotary Club.  Rotary meets the first and third Thursdays of each month at noon in the conference room at the North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia where they conduct business, plan projects and events, hear a program, and enjoy camaraderie.  As part of this international civic organization, Rotarians support a variety of causes, making positive impacts locally and abroad.

Rotarians strive to conduct themselves according to the 4-Way Test:
⦁    First, is it the Truth?
⦁    Second, is it Fair to all concerned?
⦁    Third, will it build Good Will and better Friendships?
⦁    And fourth, will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

If Rotary sounds a like a good fit for you, please contact a Rotarian or inquire through their Facebook page about how to become a member.
