KDOT Will be Grading and Surfacing All of US Highway 36 Within the Washington City Limits in Washington County

Beginning Monday, August 15th, the eastbound lanes of US Highway 36 through the city limits of Washington, Kansas will be closed.  Eastbound traffic will be diverted to the center lane of the highway with road signs, barriers, signage, etc.

Crews will work their way through the project with traffic changes occurring in different locations as the project progresses.

KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.
