Kansas National Guardsmen Will Support Memorial Day Events in North Central Kansas

Soldiers and Airmen of the Kansas National Guard will support a variety of Memorial Day events across the state.

In North Central Kansas, Chief Warrant Officer 4 David Lockhart, Sgt. 1st Class Shaun Carter, and Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Johnson, 1st Battalion, 235th Regiment, will provide a color guard and rifle team for a Memorial Day ceremony at Twin Hills Cemetery in Tescott.  The ceremony will begin at 9 am on Monday, May 30th.

Also on Monday, 1st Lt. Rilee Smith, 995th Maintenance Company, will be the featured speaker for a Memorial Day program at Berner Memorial Park in Clifton.  The program, hosted by the Clifton American Legion Post, will begin at 10 am.

In Bennington, Chief Warrant Officer 4 David Lockhart, Sgt. 1st Class Shaun Carter, and Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Johnson, 1st Battalion, 235th Regiment, will provide a color guard and rifle team for a Memorial Day ceremony at Bennington Cemetery.  The ceremony will begin at 11 am Monday.
