June Sales Tax Numbers in Cloud County Up 6.8% Over Last Year

Cloud County sales tax for the month of June is 6.8 percent higher compared to June of 2021, representing an increase in collections of $5,431.28.

Overall, local collections totaled $84,770.62 in June.

In Cloud County, sales tax collections have reached over $80,000 for the third time this year.  Prior to December 2021, the last time Cloud County's sales tax revenue topped more than $80,000 was August of 2016.

According to information provided to KNCK News by the Cloud County Treasurer's Office, year-to-date sales collection is 14.5 percent more than through the same period last year.  For the fiscal year to date, Cloud County has taken in $481,748.19 in sales tax revenue, up $61,042.55 from the $420,705.64 collected through June 2021.
