It's Graduation Weekend in Concordia; Stahlman Named Valedictorian, DeGraff Salutatorian

Not only is it Mother's Day weekend, it is also graduation weekend in Concordia. And on Sunday, May 11, Concordia High School will host its commencement ceremony.

The day will start with the Baccalaureate at 1:30 PM at the CHS auditorium. Graduation follows at 2:30 PM inside the CHS gym.

Aubrey Stahlman has been named valedictorian, while Daegen DeGraff has been named salutatorian.

Stahlman is the daughter of Justin and Lori Stahlman. In high school, she was involved in cross country, track and field, cheer, dance, band, National Honor Society, Friends of Rachel, competitive dance, Hurricanes swim team, CYO and 4-H. Stahlman plans to attend Kansas State University to earn a degree in kinesiology and then go to the University of Kansas Medical School to obtain a doctorate in physical therapy.

DeGraff is the daughter of Doug and Amy DeGraff. In high school, she was involved in National Honor Society, band, cheer, dance, Pantherettes, wrestling manager, Friends of Rachel, 4-H and CYO. DeGraff plans to attend Cloud County Community College and then go to Fort Hays State University to pursue a degree in fine arts with a concentration in art education.

The CHS Class of 2025 includes 67 seniors.
