Free Community Thanksgiving Meal to be Held Thursday at National Guard Armory

The Concordia Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 24th at the National Guard Armory in Concordia.  This year's dinner is available for in-person dining, drive-through and delivery.  Deliveries will be made from 11 am to noon.  In-person and carryout meals will be available from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm.  

The meal is free.

Organizer Lisa Valcoure says they want to have a place for those to go who don't have anyone to eat with at Thanksgiving.

The menu includes traditional Thanksgiving items.

A free-will donation of support will be taken at the site.  Valcoure says the donated funds will go toward replacement of kitchen equipment used to prepare the yearly meal.

Last year, over 600 meals were served at the annual dinner.
