Farm Country Ford Installs First Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station in Cloud County

Farm Country Ford has installed the first community electric vehicle charging station in Cloud County at their location in Concordia to meet the expectations and needs of the electric vehicle industry.

Darell Gallegos with Farm Country Ford says they've worked to become EV-certified to accommodate electric vehicles.  He said Farm Country Ford is dedicated to helping customers achieve their sustainability goals.

With how popular electric vehicles have become, Farm Country Ford decided to train their technicians to safely service Ford's electric vehicles.

Farm Country Ford has also installed the first public use electric vehicle charging stations in Cloud County.  The dealership mounted an electric vehicle charging station in the customer area, while another electric vehicle charging station was placed in their service area.

The installation of the public electric vehicle charging station represents a first for the region and is part of a much larger nationwide effort.

As Ford introduces exciting new EV and alternative-fuel market entries, Gallegos says Farm Country Ford made investments in its facilities and business model to become EV certified. 

EV certification will allow Farm Country Ford to order and sell the newest, most technologically advanced products offered by Ford and to perform warranty service on their high-voltage systems.
