CPD Reminds Local Traffic To Drive Safe During Pavement Replacement Project

The Concordia Police Department has released the following statement regarding safety on the road when entering the work zone for the pavement replacement project on Highway 81:

There will be roadwork starting tomorrow, November 11, on the viaduct between 1st and 6th St., on both northbound and southbound lanes.

Please remember that there will be extra traffic in the area. Any “oversized loads” will have to be rerouted as the open lanes will be 8 feet wide. 

When driving on the viaduct, please be vigilant.
