Concordia Municipal Swimming Pool to Open to the Public This Saturday

The City of Concordia has announced the Concordia Municipal Swimming Pool will open to the public, starting Saturday, May 27th.

During its opening day, the pool will be open from noon to 12:50 pm for adult swim, while the pool's operating hours will be from 1 pm to 7 pm for the general public.

The Concordia Municipal Swimming Pool will be open Monday through Saturday from noon to 7 pm.  The pool will be closed on Sundays.

Admission is $2 per person, while punch cards and season passes can be purchased online at concordiaks.recdesk.com.

While the past few years have not been easy for public pools, with Concordia and many other communities struggling to staff lifeguards, City Manager Amy Lange tells KNCK News they are thrilled to be fully staffed this year.

For many, the opening day of the Concordia Municipal Swimming Pool marks the official start to the summer. 

Lange says officials in the city are also excited to welcome back this favorite summer tradition.

The Concordia Municipal Swimming Pool is located at 318 W. 11th Street.
