Concordia High School Set to Celebrate Homecoming September 18th-22nd

Concordia High School will celebrate Homecoming September 18th through September 22nd.

The 2023 Homecoming Queen candidates are: Hattie Blackwood, Zoe Britt, Carlie Carlgren, Gracey Drury and Callie Parker.

The 2023 Homecoming King candidates are: Keegun Beims, Payton Breese, Mason Eickmann, Caleb Hanson and Lewis VanMeter.

This year's Homecoming week "theme" days are:
Monday: Monochromatic Monday
Tuesday: Anything But a Backpack
Wednesday: Denim Day
Thursday: Country vs. Country Club
Friday: Panther Spirit Day

This year's homecoming pep rally will be held on Thursday, September 21st at the Broadway Plaza in downtown Concordia, beginning at 9 pm.  Parents and community members are invited to attend.

The 2023 Homecoming "Parade to the Plaza" will take place Friday, September 22nd at 2:30 pm, beginning at Concordia High School, traveling down 6th Street, and ending at the Broadway Plaza.  The parade includes: homecoming candidates in convertibles, the CHS band, class trailers, dancers, cheerleaders, fall sports teams, and CHS clubs and organizations.

USD 333 Concordia will have a district-wide early dismissal at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 22nd, so that everyone may attend the homecoming parade and assembly.

The Homecoming Assembly, featuring introduction and information about the homecoming candidates, including candidate videos produced by Cat Scratch Productions, will be held on Friday, September 22nd at 3 pm at the Broadway Plaza.  Parents and community members are invited to attend.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating.  In the event of inclement weather, the Concordia High School Auditorium will be used.

The Homecoming Coronation Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 22nd at Harold M. Clark Stadium, starting at approximately 6:30 pm before the Concordia High School Football game against the Marysville Bulldogs.

Finally, the Homecoming Dance will take place Friday, September 22nd from 10 pm to midnight in the Concordia High School Junior Varsity Gymnasium.  Admission is $3.00.  Students must register outside guests by using the "Permission Form for School Dance" located in the Concordia High School Office by September 20th.  Outside guests must show photo identification when entering.  Wing Productions is providing the music.
