The Concordia Community Thanksgiving Dinner to be Held on Nov. 27

The annual Concordia Community Thanksgiving Meal will be held on Thanksgiving Day at the American Legion Post 76 in Concordia. The location has changed from the meal's usual spot, the Armory, due to repair work that is currently underway.

Lisa Valcoure, one of the organizers of the Community Thanksgiving Meal, talks about the history of the event and how many people usually come to enjoy Thanksgiving with their community.

She gives more details on how to notify the organizers to prepare enough food for all those planning to attend, as well as the food that will be served this year.

She shares directions for drivers to follow when picking up to-go meals at the American Legion.

Valcoure gives the schedule of the Community Thanksgiving Meal and invites any interested in volunteering to come out and assist in putting together this wonderful community meal.
