Commodity Distribution Set for Cloud County

This year, the US Department of Agriculture updated its income eligibility guidelines for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program with the aim of helping more low-income seniors.  The monthly income for a household size of one increased from $1,396 to $1,473 under the guidelines – meaning anyone who makes $1,473 or under would be eligible for the program.

The next distribution will take place Wednesday, August 17th from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm at the Concordia First United Methodist Church, located at 740 W. 11th Street in Concordia.

To be eligible to receive commodities the total household income must be below $1,473 for one person, $1,984 for two, $2,495 for three and $3,007 for four.  For each additional family member add $512.
