Clyde Man Hurt After Failing to Yield Right-of-Way in Two-Vehicle Crash in Washington County

A Clyde man was treated for injuries after failing to yield the right-of-way in a two-vehicle crash in Washington County late-last week.

According to a report from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Edward D. Willbrant of Clyde, driving a 2016 Ford F-250 pickup, failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of 6th and Arrowhead Road on Thursday, June 20th.  Willbrant's vehicle struck a semi driven by Sean Lambert of Clyde.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office reports Willbrant's vehicle was destroyed with heavy front-end damage, while Lambert's trailer was also destroyed by the side impact.

Willbrant was taken to North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia for face and head injuries sustained in the crash.

A passenger in his vehicle, Kileab Willbrant of Washington, was not injured.

Lambert also suffered no apparent injuries in the crash.
