Cloud County Commissioners Hear Department Updates

Cloud County Commissioners meet Monday and receive updates from several departments.

First up was road and bridge. 

Commissioner Mike Cleveland.

Solid Waste and Recycling Director Mike Hake told commissioners 43,659 pounds of cardboard was sold last week at $105 per ton. He also said the recycling center will begin its summer hours on June 3, operating from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Following Hake was an update from the Health Department.

Cleveland also said no new patients are being accepted at the Cloud County Health Department pending completion of audits, and the health department is still in need of new fans for their summer fan drive to help those in need before the summer heat begins.

Commissioners received a report from the Cloud County Clerk's office.

The Cloud County Commission will meet next Tuesday, May 27 at 9 AM and not on Monday because of Memorial Day.
