Belleville Man Arrested Following Vehicle Chase in Clay and Cloud Counties Last Week

A vehicle chase in Clay and Cloud Counties last week led to the arrest of a Belleville man on multiple charges.

According to a news release from the Cloud County Sheriff's Office, a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Miltonvale on US Highway 24 at around 6:59 pm on Tuesday, February 27th.  The driver, Aden Lee Hatcher of Belleville, fled from the deputy.

The vehicle chase went through portions of Clay and Cloud Counties, finally coming to a stop at the south Concordia city limits.

Hatcher is charged with Felony Flee and Elude, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Criminal Damage to Property, Speeding, and Driving with a Suspended Drivers License.
