Area Youth Invited to Cloud County Community College's Thor Days & Kids' College

Area youth in first through sixth grade are invited to attend either Thor Days or Kid’s College on the Cloud County Community College Concordia campus in July.

This year, Thor Days will be for fourth, fifth and sixth graders on July 17th and 18th.  Carleen Nordell says they will begin their day at 9 am, and finish at 4 pm.

There will be three class sessions – the first from 9 am to 11 am, the second from Noon to 2 pm, and the third from 2 pm to 4 pm.  There will be an hour lunch break from 11 am to noon, and lunch will be provided by the college.

Nordell says the cost for fourth through sixth graders will be $30, which includes a T-shirt, enrollment in three classes, and lunch.

Students in first through third grades will attend Kid's College on July 19th and 20th, from 1 pm to 4 pm.  There will be three class sessions, with each session being an hour long.  Cost for first through third graders will be $25, which includes enrollment in three classes and a T-Shirt.

Early enrollment deadline for both sections of Kid's College is June 16th.  Classes are limited in size, so early enrollment is suggested.  A T-shirt cannot be guaranteed without early enrollment.
