You're Invited to a Lenten Retreat at The Nazareth Motherhouse
Lent is a time of preparation for the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ at Easter. This March 3-9, Theologian, Storyteller, and Wise Spiritual Leader, Megan McKenna will lead a Lenten retreat at The Nazareth Motherhouse in Concordia, Kansas. She will lead retreatants in contemplation of the great stories in the Gospel of John. Storytelling and processing the stories as they affect our everyday stories will move us deeper into our comprehension of God’s love and the Way of Jesus as presented in the Scripture.
McKenna is an internationally known speaker and writer, lecturer and spiritual leader. She has graduate degrees in Scripture, Adult Education and Literacy and Systemic Theology. Her work has led her throughout Asia, North and South American and Europe. She has authored many books available through the internet. Her experiences with the diverse peoples of the world has led her deeper into the reality of God’s love and the role of humans in the flourishing of the world and planet. God’s presence in so much diversity has led her into ever-greater wisdom and the articulation of God’s desire for all Creation. Come meet her!
Schedule: 2:30 – 4:00 each afternoon, Sunday, March 3 through Saturday, March 9.
