The Brown Grand Opera House, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of a new Winter Movie Series.  As the Theatre continues to celebrate 115 years, this Series can be enjoyed by our entire community – especially as we reflect on the Brown Grand's 50-year history as a movie theatre, before the Theatre's grand restoration in the mid-1970s.

The Brown Grand will show a family friendly movie first Friday of November, December, January, and February.  All of the movies will start at 6:30 pm and will be free and open to the public, thanks to a generous grant from the Cloud County Chemical Dependency Committee.  There will also be concessions available for purchase.

Movie titles include: RATATOUILLE on November 4, HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS on December 2, THE KARATE KID on January 6, and THE GOONIES on February 3.

Brown Grand Director, Melissa Swenson states, “This Movie Series has been discussed among the Board of Directors for many years.  We wanted to offer an indoor activity for our community during the cold winter months when outdoor activities are limited.  We hope everyone will come out and enjoy our selection of movies coming up at the Brown Grand.”
